This is a static website with no accounts and no forms. When you visit, our host (Cloudflare) processes technical data your browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google when a page loads.
We use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement and advertising tags, including tags that tell us when a visit came from one of our adverts and whether a visitor clicked through to a seller. Where these tags use cookies or similar technologies that aren't strictly necessary, we ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
If you leave a comment, we store the name you give and your comment. Every comment is reviewed before it is published; published comments show your name, the date and your comment. We don't store your IP address: to stop abuse, we keep a one-way scrambled code derived from it for one hour. Comments that aren't published are deleted within 30 days. To have a comment removed, email us with the page and the name you used.
When you click an affiliate link, the seller and its affiliate network may set their own cookies to record that the visit came from us. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.
Depending on where you live, data protection law (for example the GDPR in the EU, the UK GDPR, the Australian Privacy Act or US state privacy laws such as the CCPA) gives you rights over your personal data: to access it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict its use. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Email us to exercise any of these rights.
